Anatomy and First Aid Class Created
Anatomy in general; examines the normal structure of the human body, its organs, connections between organs, systems and structural relationships. While this branch, which constitutes the cornerstone of medical sciences, was limited to macroscopic and systematic anatomy in the past, now developmental anatomy, functional anatomy, clinical anatomy, artistic anatomy, radiological anatomy and sports anatomy have also taken their place in the literature. In addition to providing basic information on human anatomy, training on this subject is provided together with theory and applications.
In addition, in this class, with the understanding of "First Aid Saves Lives" in First Aid Training, sudden accidents, injuries, disabilities, life-threatening and unexpected situations, fire, etc. Necessary first aid applications in disasters are carried out successfully both theoretically and practically.
The Anatomy class established within the Faculty of Sports Sciences of Bartın University is used in the related departments of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, especially in the Department of Coaching Education. In classroom conditions, sports science students have the opportunity to recognize all systems, perform first aid applications, evaluate, analyze and discuss by using enriched anatomical models, torsos and SPR models.
